Morning Worship service for anyone who can or wants to help with
VBS. We will meet in the choir room.
On Mother’s Day, May 11th , we will begin collecting money for Care Net of
Owensboro to help with their Baby Bottle Campaign. We will have baby bottles
to pass out for you to take home and fill with coins, dollars or checks (made
payable to Care Net). Return the bottles on Father’s Day, June 15th . You can
fill a bottle in honor or in memory of a special lady and gentleman in your life.
Please fill out the enclosed form and give it to Pam TODAY. There will be an
insert for your special ladies in the Mother’s Day bulletin and one for your
special men in the Father’s Day bulletin. You can fill out one form for both of
them. This is a great way to help the new moms and babies and to recognize
those who made a HUGE impact on your life. Thank you for your help!

Growing in God’s Garden
“But grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and
Savior Jesus Christ”
Your Garden
First plant 6 rows of “Peas”:
Praise Promptness
Patience Perseverance
Preparedness Politeness
Then plant 6 rows of “Lettuce”:
Let us be faithful,
Let us be unselfish
Let us be loyal,
Let us love one another
Let us be truthful,
Let us read our Bible
Next to them plant 4 rows of squash:
Squash criticism
Squash indifference
Squash gossip
Squash laziness
No garden is complete without turnips:
Turn up for church
Turn up with a smile
Turn up with real concern for souls
Turn up with a willing spirit
Turn up with a testimony
Planting Instructions:
Often the furrows of our heart must be plowed deeply in
preparation for these seeds. To produce growth, it necessitates
daily watering from the tears of heartfelt prayer for the seeds
to germinate. These plants grow all year long!
